This modern styled Yamaha M5J is a lovely piano for the budding pianist in your family.  Manufactured by Yamaha in Hamamatsu, Japan in 1976, it features a semigloss Walnut cabinet with side-lifting lid, and a third practice pedal, for quiet playing.  The cabinet and brasswork are in excellent condition and have been fully detailed.  The internal playing mechanism has been fully serviced, regulated and tuned, and plays with a light touch and clear tone.  This is an excellent piano that will endure years of constant playing in a variety of settings.

‘Art Deco’ Style Waldorf Piano

This piano is an absolutely magnificent example of classic European Art Deco Styling from the 1930’s.  Art Deco combined modern styles with fine craftsmanship and high quality materials. This piano is the most stunning example of this period, with styled beaded edging all around the panels, filled in styled legs, and ‘mother of pearl’ marquetry inlaid top panel. The previous owners had owned the piano from new – their grandmother ordered and purchased the piano from Kuhnels Piano Store on Rundle Street, Adelaide and it apparently took 2 years to manufacture and ship out from Leipzig in Germany. We received the piano 6 months ago and have conducted a full interior and exterior restoration.  The piano cabinet was completely dismantled, stripped back to bare wood and re French polished.  The interior mechanism and keyboard have also been completely restored to original specifications.  The piano was then reassembled and fully regulated, serviced and tuned to concert pitch.  It plays perfectly, most likely

Kawai CX5
