Our Japanese Yamaha and Kawai Pianos are sourced both locally (when people trade them in for an upgrade), as well as fully imported refurbished Japanese pianos which we travel to Japan twice a year to hand select. ~ Yamaha YUA-X5(PE) Full Size Professional Upright Piano ~
This piano is a fully imported, Japanese made AAA Rated Yamaha YUA-X5 Professional Upright Piano. Designed as an upright version of a grand piano; the YUA-X5 is widely considered to be one of the highest quality upright pianos ever manufactured by Yamaha.
Designed to mimic a grand piano in an upright form, with its large fold out grand piano style music desk, Agraffe stringing scale, strengthened touch (the same as a grand piano touch) and X back tuning system.
Manufactured in the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Yamaha, this piano was built in the original Yamaha Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. Following this period, Indonesia and China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economies causing Yamaha to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes at a new factory in Indonesia from the early 1990s and right up to today.
This particular piano is in near perfect condition inside and out and would suit the new piano buyer. This model is comparable to a brand new YUS5 which now retails for in excess of $26,000 AUD making this particular piano an excellent option for the new piano buyer.
