Manufactured in the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Kawai, this piano was built in the original Kawai Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan which primarily operated between 1970-1995. Following this period, China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economy causing Kawai to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes in both China and Indonesia into the mid 1990s and right up to today.
With a new Kawai semi-concert grand piano of the same size and quality now costing in excess of $80,000AUD this piano is an excellent option for the new piano buyer.
This piano has been meticulously tuned and maintained during its life. We therefore know the piano inside and out and can confidently say that it easily has 50 more years of life left in it!
The piano has also been through our rigorous refurbishment process including a full dismantle, exterior clean and detail, full regulation of the playing mechanism, keyboard and pedal mechanisms. Following refurbishment, the piano was reassembled and fine tuned to A-440 Concert Pitch.
The piano will come with our full 15 year warranty giving you complete piece of mind.
