~ Fully Restored Yamaha YUA-X5(PE) Piano ~
 
Standing at an imposing 132cm tall, the full size Yamaha YUA-X5 is an extremely rare and sought after piano in Australia and even more rare to see in South Australia.
 
Manufactured in the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Yamaha, this piano was built in the original Yamaha Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan which primarily operated between 1968-1988. Following this period, China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economy causing Yamaha to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes in Indonesia into the 1990s and right up to today.
 
This model was the upgrade to the standard U3 models and even the U3X models with its heavy duty cabinet with grand piano style fold out music desk. It has a full iron frame, overstrung scale with agraffe tuning system and high quality weighted action that replicates the feel of a grand piano.
 
This model also has an extra pedal which functions as a bass sustain as well as a quite mode function that operated via a lever under the keyboard.
 
The piano has been through our rigorous refurbishment process including a full dismantle, exterior clean and detail, full regulation of the playing mechanism, keyboard and pedal mechanisms. Following refurbishment, the piano was reassembled and fine tuned to A-440 Concert Pitch.
 
The piano will come with our full 15 year warranty giving you complete piece of mind.
