The flagship model in Yamaha’s grand piano range, this piano is an absolutely stunning full size 275cm Yamaha ‘CF’ Conservatory Series Concert Grand Piano measuring 275cm front to back. This piano is in absolutely stunning condition inside and out and can be described with ‘As New Condition’.
The piano is featured in our premium collection and presented on our premium piano stage in our Adelaide store along with a Bosendorfer Model 200 and Steinway Model A. 
 
Manufactured in the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Yamaha, this piano was built in the original Yamaha Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan which primarily operated between 1968-1988. Following this period, China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economy causing Yamaha to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes in Indonesia into the 1990s and right up to today.
 
Many Yamaha CF Concert Grand Pianos are located in institutions and universities etc and it is rare to find a privately owned example like this. The piano was previously owned by a local family as their home piano. It has been meticulously tuned and maintained throughout its life which is reflected by its beautiful condition.
 
The piano has been through our rigorous refurbishment process including a full dismantle, exterior clean and detail, full regulation of the playing mechanism, keyboard and pedal mechanisms. Following refurbishment, the piano was reassembled and fine tuned to A-440 Concert Pitch.
 
In addition, we have conducted a full clean, buff and polish of the exterior high gloss ebony cabinet as well as removing and polishing all brasswork such as locks and hinges. The piano presents as brand new and is an excellent option for the new piano buyer.
 
With a brand new Japanese made Yamaha CFX Concert Grand Piano now costing in excess of $220,000 AUD and generally a 12 - 18 month wait time, this is the perfect solution for the new piano buyer. We are so able to offer excellent trade in prices for any existing pianos.
